About
Let’s be honest—communication can be tricky, especially when people process and express things differently. Not everyone uses words. Not everyone responds right away. That doesn’t mean someone isn’t paying attention or even that they don't understand. It might just mean they communicate in a different way. In spaces built to support neurodivergent individuals, what looks like “challenging behavior” or not "paying attention" is often something deeper: overwhelm, feeling misunderstood, or simply a mismatch in communication styles between those involved. This course isn’t about fixing people. It’s about shifting how we see behavior and responding in a way that builds safety and trust. You’ll learn how to: Recognize behavior as a form of communication Stay grounded and calm in tough moments Reduce escalation by shifting your response Create safety—even when things feel uncertain Understand that breakdowns in communication can come from both sides There is no perfection. The goal is to be thoughtful, not flawless.
